Weather permitting, every second Saturday of the month, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., there is a swap meet on the northeast corner of Wilcox and Madison Avenues, proceeds from which benefit the adult-transition program at Montebello High School.  Admission is free.  For more information or to obtain a space to sell from, contact Ms. Marie Madsen, Madsen_Marie@montebello.k12.ca.us, 323.356.0439.

During the first full weekend, that is, Friday, Saturday and Sunday of December, March, June, and September, we have our quarterly yard sale in Montebello, when residents may sell goods without a city permit.  For details, including what may be sold, go to http://www.cityofmontebello.com/cals/default.asp

Team up with the Lions in an ongoing event.  Donate gently used pairs of shoes.  * Shoes MUST remain paired together.  * Tie laces, rubber band or tie together, but no tape  * Any gently used or new pairs of street shoes accepted.  Please, NO shoes with damage or excessive wear.  You can drop the shoes off any Tuesday Evening Between 6:30 p.m. 8:00 p.m. at the Montebello Senior Center, 115 South Taylor Avenue, Montebello.  More information, Chris Ohrmund, 909.598.0554.
