Thank you, everyone, for signing up yesterday!  If you work well in teams, you are going to excel and many people outside of MHS are going to know about your work.

First, I am going to try to communicate with everyone by writing instructions once a week, which will be posted in certain classrooms:

            (a) E-News team 1, in Ms. Cappela’s classroom, C-3;

(b) E-News team 7, in Mr. Daciuk’s and Ms. Green’s classrooms, B-13 and D-7;

(c) E-News team 13, in Ms. Green’s classroom, D-7;

(d) Oil teams 1 and 7, in Mr. Daciuk’s and Ms. Green’s classrooms, B-13 and D-7.

Second, I ask

(a) E-News team 1 to choose four team leaders, two from first period and two from second period, and for those four to e-mail me today to tell me that they are team leaders;

(b) Diana and Ian to become team leaders for those students whom they recruit for E-News team 7 and Oil team 7

(c) E-News team 13 to choose six team leaders, two from first period, two from third period, two from fourth period, and for those six to e-mail me today to tell me that they are team leaders;

Finally, there is much material at our Website,  I ask that you go there, click on “Setting an Example” in the left margin, and read documents 1, 2, and 4 pertaining to E-News, if you are involved in E-News, and documents 3 and 4 if you are involved in Oil, so that you get an idea of why your activities would set you apart from most high schoolers.  You do not have to read anything else for now.  On Tuesday, I will bring instructions so that each team have its first activity.  I will set up a schedule so that a team could meet with me during nutrition once a week.  If a team has something urgent, I will come during any period, including zero period, lunch or after school, if I am told in advance and my calendar is open.  Anyone may e-mail or call me at any time, as I check e-mail and voice mail twice every day.
